VT PDF Voice Read is designed with your privacy as a priority. This page explains what happens to your data when you use the app.
All PDF reading and text-to-speech functionality runs entirely locally on your device. The app does not require an account, login, or email address. We do not collect, store, or have access to your PDFs, reading activity, or any personal information.
If you choose to use the AI summary or AI discussion feature, selected text from your PDF is sent directly from your device to Google's Gemini API, using an API key that you provide and manage yourself. This connection is directly between your device and Google's servers — VelaTango does not see, store, or have access to this data at any point. Use of the Gemini API is subject to Google's own terms and privacy practices.
This feature is entirely optional. You can choose not to use it.
This app contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking technologies of any kind.
This app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, since no data is collected by VelaTango in the first place.
